Automatic Recognition and Comparison of Facial Images, and Notification when a Person of Interest is Identified

Lookout Matcher is facial identification software that operates on the windows server system platform. The Lookout Matcher connects to one or more Lookout Collector units over a TCP/IP network. The Lookout Matcher maintains a “watch list”. This list contains portrait samples of identified persons. Each facial image that the Lookout Matcher Server receives from a collector unit is compared against all of the portrait images in the “watch list”. When an incoming facial image matches one of the portraits in the watch list with a similarity score that exceeds the threshold value, an alert appears. A typical alert shows both the face that triggered the alert and the corresponding portrait from the “watch list”. This allows the operator to visually verify the alert and an email alert can also be sent to multiple security personnel.

Features:

• Provides facial identification: displays best match in the watch list if similarity threshold is reached (one-to-many matching)
