Taking fingerprints from suspects is a
routine daily task for police forces. The
demand is for quick identification and
background checks through inquiries
to local or remote AFIS databases.
The new L SCAN booking station
accomodates all scanners of the
L SCAN and LITE class series of FBI-certified
forensic-quality fingerprint and
palm print scanners. All user control
elements are arranged ergonomically
to make the job of booking officers as
easy and safe as possible. The large
flat screen display with optional
touch screen functionality is located
in an optimal position and displays
the captured fingerprints in full
resolution. A shatterproof glass pane
protects the display from impact.
The workspace surrounding the
scanner provides additional area for
placing documents or even
connecting additional input devices,
such as signature capture devices.
Foot switch controls are conveniently
located at both front corners.
Capturing all prints and textual data
is an intuitive process that takes just
a few minutes.
The optional camera mounting
bracket allows convenient fixed
installation of a video or still camera
to capture mug shot and scar, mark
and tattoo (SMT) images.
This system was designed for high
value, ease of use and high reliability.

The Cross Match Enhanced Limited Warranty is recommended for 24x7 customer care service and next business day replacement of hardware. Maintenance support upon the expiration of the Enhanced Limited Warranty period is available subject to execution of the Cross Match standard Maintenance Plan.
