FaceCheck^® Server is real-time facial identification software that operates on a FaceSnap^® Recorder system platform. The FaceCheck Server connects to one or several FaceSnap imaging units in a TCP/IP network. The FaceCheck Server maintains one or several "watch lists." These lists contain portrait samples of identified persons. Each facial image that the FaceCheck Server receives from one of the imaging units is compared against all of the portrait images in the selected "watch lists." When an incoming facial image matches one of the portraits in the watch list, with a similarity score that exceeds the threshold value, an alert appears. A typical alert shows both the face that triggered the alert and the corresponding portrait from the "watch list." This allows the operator to visually verify the alert.

Features:

• FaceCheck Server provides real-time facial identification: displays best match in the watch list if similarity threshold is reached (one-to-many matching).
  
• For each person on the watch list, one or several sample images can be stored.
  
• Positive matches (alerts) are displayed to the operator by the pair of facial images: the current image and the reference image from the watch list.
  
• FaceCheck Server works independently from the face capturing process. The input facial images are provided by FaceSnap imaging units over IP connections.
